Well my sister is tereing 12 in a cople of…well she has oredy had here birth day it was very early and we are going to go to the shops to day and buy some things and it is gong to be so,so,so,so, much fun at the mall.
We will go and have some food and then we mite go and get some cothes and we mit go and get some shoes and find and we will get lots of things and things and we will not stop and if we do it would be for some food or looking at something and if my dad has not told you i love clothes shoping and I don’t really like food shoping.
My sister got a mp4 player and a temigochiy 5 and a pirates of the cariben game and you get to make a person and it is so cool!!!

As you mite of seen before about going to Lara’s house so i am still going on with that story a bit and it is called GOING TO THE ZOO as you would all ready know … I went over to her house and that night she was kicking me all night and i was up all night and the next day i had to go to ice skating and i was so tired and that day we also went to the zoo and we got to do all cool and fun things and some leaders were very funny and strange a bit but . The leaders names were Vikky,Bel,Chris and there were the yaks and that means that if there were older than 12 you can go into the yaks and you get to play and help the leaders and things like that and we all so got to see a small rat a normally rat and a big rat and when i told her mum about the rats she said EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWW!!!!! she said it was disgusting.

On Monday the14th of apil i saw my mummy donna and we went and saw
haten heres a how and it was so funny and my sister kate got me some shows and she brot her 3 mouth old baby with her and he was so cut and she got some picters of him when he was born and two pars of shows and one were flip flops and flip flop means thongs and some traners.
On Monday the 21st of april
i went and saw mey daddy mark and we went and saw in the moves nimes island and it was so sad and it got happer as it got in to the move more and my daddy mark got a tato of KARMAH JAYNE in big letters and it had my date of birth wich is the 26th of septenber 19999 and it is one of thows ones that can not come of so i had lots of fun with my mum and dad.

Today i am going over to my friend laras house and she does ice skating too we are going to her house
at 2 .00 or later and i think that we are going to have lots of fun at her house.
The next day myself and lara will go to the zoo and it would be this little place were you get to fead and touch the animales and it would be lots of fun but the best thing is that we do not have to pay for me to go there.

I need a costume to were for my next competition in june or july.
so we have a rushen costume and we found the lady that can do that and the costume has big flowers every were. but i don’t really now what it looks like really but i think that it is nice.well i got it last week and it is so good it has green around the bottem and I LIKE IT!!

Well as you now my father has been talking about me and i am very happy that he is doing that because i like to be talked about well some times i do.
I like to do fun stuff but i mostly like ice skating the most because it is a fun sport and it is very dangerous and i like sports that are dangerous. I like to do ice skating and things like that. Some times you can get very tired instead of running round like a maniac .
One of the most worst things that had happened to me would be falling down on the ice and going into a Camel spin and falling on my head and getting a big scar on the side of my for head.

KayJay’s finger is improving slowly and she’s been back on the ice a few times. She’s still not back 100% yet but getting there.
I’ve been taking video to upload as soon as, and this afternoon I’ll see if I can take a few stills so that we can get the ball rolling. After all, no point having a blog about skating if there’s nothing on here to look at eh what??

Just been showing the daughter how to make posts on her blog. Right now she’s only an ‘Author’ despite this really being her blog. This is because she doesn’t understand yet how the system works and might delete everything… which might be an issue if I’ve not made a backup… which I haven’t.

Ice skating is fraught with injury and so when a skater is hurt, especially if the injury is caused on-ice, the ability to ‘bounce back’ and keep skating is an integral part of the training process. If it happened in competition you could still win or place, as long as you finish your routine.
When the injury happens off ice it’s more of a pain, mostly because it might stop you cold, so to speak, until the injury heals.
Little KJ fell in school last Friday, just before the half term break, and broke her little finger. The result was… no skating lesson on Saturday and a query over whether she’ll be allowed to do much for the next two weeks.
Friday night she was in real pain. Saturday morning she seemed to have recovered a little. Saturday afternoon we took her back to the doctor who said to come back in two weeks and get it x-rayed again. I suppose this *should* mean don’t skate for two weeks in case she falls on it again and makes the break worse. However… if she’s careful… she might be ok.
So, I’m going to call the coach and check that lessons *will* be happening through the holidays and let her go to the first one to see how she copes. If she’s ok… she carried on going. If not… well we’ll cross that bridge when it happens.

Lord knows how long this blog will run. The intention is to chart the progress of Skatergirl from novice to… wherever. Eventually I expect her to take it over and run it herself but for now ‘Skater Dad’ will be running it and making posts as something happens.
The posts may come thick and fast… they may be once a week… or less… or more. Who knows. Not me
The intention is that the site itself also expands to bring in as much information about ‘general’ ice skating in Australia as possible, but that’s for another day, and in another part of the site. For now, this blog is all that counts… so here we start.
As information is added, I’ll make it known what and where. Much as we are concerned about privacy on the web, I think this is one of those occasions where pictures are a necessity… almost a requirement so they’ll also be added as and when.
Right, I’m off… and so is the blog! Wish us well world… here we come!
